About Timers for Class
Timers for Class is a free classroom timer built for the front of the room — the wall clock, the rocket, the balloon, and everything in between. No sign-up, no account, no ads, and no premium tier hiding the good timers.
Why we built this
Most timer apps are built for the person setting them, not the room watching them. We wanted something a teacher could open in one click, project onto a whiteboard, and trust to just work — no login wall between the bell ringing and the countdown starting.
What you'll find here
Exam timers — the wall clock, hourglass, candle, traffic light, battery, beaker, stopwatch, and pencil — are quiet and precise, built to run for a full class period without distracting anyone. Fun timers — shapes, balloon, rocket, animal race, flower bloom, volcano, and firecracker — trade precision for personality, with sound effects and playful animations built in for brain breaks and classroom games.
